Committee For Perth Submission Transport 3.5 Million
This submission has been prepared by the Committee for Perth with assistance from members of our Get a Move On! Steering Committee and Reshaping Working Group. In our submission we have relied on our research conducted as part of Get a Move On!, which is the combined outcome of ten individual research projects undertaken over a 12 month period. This has included a survey of 2,000 commuters; interviews with 40 major businesses representing 100,000 commuters; the findings of on-the-ground study tours; and desktop research to examine the co-dependent relationship between land use, transport and economic development.

Metropolitan Local Government Review Panel Draft Findings Report Submission
This submission supports the majority of draft findings, however we also believe that the critical issue will be how, and how quickly, the findings are implemented. In particular, we would like to ensure that regardless of the number of local authorities in the metropolitan region, there are formal and effective structures for integration and collaboration between local authorities, and local authorities and the State Government.
