CAMPUS PERTH IS THE NEW WAVE OF STUDENT ACCOMMODATION IN PERTH CITY CENTRE
Situated in the heart of the city, Campus Perth – a design-led, co-living student hub – is set to be home to more than 700 domestic and international university students from January 2019.
Exclusively for students, Campus Perth is an affordable and all-inclusive community living option, with four room types including a Studio, Twodio, Campus 4 and Cluster 6, mixing between private and shared. With a keen eye for innovative design and trendy decor, each and every room at Campus Perth comes equipped with high-speed unlimited Wi-Fi, lockable drawers, en-suite bathrooms, individual study desks, card access doors, 24/7 CCTV and USB charging hubs.
Offering students an alternative option to living at home, renting or living in university accommodation, Campus Perth fills a major gap in the market as the newest off-campus student accommodation hub to open in Perth.
The space has been specifically designed to achieve the perfect balance of study, social life and wellness. Split across 3,600 square metres of communal areas, students will have access to The Link, a co-working space with cluster tables, individual workstations, rooms for private meetings, all equipped with the latest technology and connectivity including high-speed Wi-Fi, USB charging stations, screening options and monitors. The Commons will feature a variety of different areas to relax and take a break from studying - all in a vibrant, multi-cultural environment with gaming and screens. A fully-equipped fitness studio will also be accessible for students, with regular fitness classes available. Several communal kitchens and a BBQ rooftop will complement the community areas accessible exclusively to Campus Perth residents.
A dedicated Campus Guru will be on hand to help foster a community atmosphere with a schedule of planned social events, including movie and games nights, potluck dinners and yoga classes.
Campus Perth General Manager Bram Newbold said both local and international students would benefit from being able to live independently but without many of the stresses that come from living out of home.
“We understand students want their independence but are under enough stress with study as well as casual or part-time work,” Mr Newbold said.
“By providing an all-inclusive rate and multiple world-class, onsite facilities, students can enjoy their independence in a unique and supportive space.”
Byford university student Ananda Wentworth Ping is one of the first in the world to sign up to live at Campus Perth in 2019 and said the new accommodation option appealed to him because of its style and its focus on balancing study, social life and wellness.
“I look forward to living independently, while also being able to study in peaceful environments and focusing on my wellbeing,” Ananda said.
“I’m also looking forward to making new friends and meeting new people.”
Campus Perth’s rates are inclusive of all accommodation fees, government rates, legal fees, management fees, electricity and water, hi-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning and 24/7 security, and features 726 rooms across 11 floors.
