We invite you to attend the next Food for Thought Leader's Luncheon at which we will hear from guest speaker Jennifer Mathews, former Commissioner for the Government of Western Australia Office in Indonesia. 

The Government of Western Australia’s Indonesia office has been supporting Western Australian businesses in Indonesia for over 25 years. With its growing middle class, Indonesia offers trade and investment opportunities across a range of sectors including; education and vocational training; tourism; resources and energy and agrifood.

Jennifer will be providing insights on business in Indonesia, the trade profile and what it means for WA.

Jennifer Mathews

Acting Deputy Director General of Strategy and International Engagement, Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation

Jennifer Mathews recently took up the role as Acting Deputy Director General of Strategy and International Engagement at the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation. Prior to this role Jennifer was the Commissioner for the Government of Western Australia in Indonesia. Jennifer has served in various roles as Director General within the State Government of WA and was State Manager for Austrade. Earlier in her career, Jennifer was the First Secretary at the Australian Embassy in Jakarta before going on to become the State Director, WA, for the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Jennifer undertook her tertiary studies in law and Indonesian studies at the University of Melbourne.
