The Committee for Perth engages with members and stakeholders through a range of events and activities.

Member Only Events

In addition to our public event series, we also hold member only events. These events are included in annual membership subscriptions and offer the opportunity for interaction on a range of topical issues. We have a range of different events aimed at stimulating and encompassing broad cross sections of our membership. These include:

Chairman's 20 - a twice–yearly small roundtable forum of leaders from within our Gold and Silver members are invited by the Chairman to provide feedback on issues affecting Perth’s growth and development.
Annual Chairman's Lunch – open to the nominated representative of each member organisation, this annual event offers a chance to provide feedback on the year’s major research project.
Food for Thought - open to the nominated member representative, this event provides the opportunity for boardroom style interaction with other members as well as international, national and local expert speakers and politicians.
Executive Women’s Leadership Forum - aimed at female senior executives within our member organisations, this event series connects senior and executive level women and provides the opportunity to hear from inspirational speakers about their career and life journeys.

Public Events
The hugely successful Perth in Focus event series is open to all members and stakeholders and is a regular opportunity for those with a vested interest in the future of Perth to remain up to date with the transformative projects and ideas that are taking place across our city and region. Members receive discounted ticket pricing to these events.

What We Thought Would Kill Us - Learnings and Recommendations Report

As the seven case studies in our What We Thought Would Kill Us series has shown us, almost any significant change proposed to the skyline, coast or on-the-ground often becomes a hard-fought contest between proponents and objectors.

For Perth to grow to accommodate 3.5 million people in a sustainable way, a new approach is needed to secure community support for a changing and adapting environment.

We invite you to join us for the launch of our latest report which details the combined learnings and recommendations from the What We Thought Would Kill Us series.
