Membership

We recognise that there are many resources available for the development of metropolitan Perth within the business community, and we seek to access, engage, combine and focus these resources with one common purpose through encouraging organisations to join the Committee for Perth.
Resulting from an extended period of prosperity, opportunities and potential for the strategic development and sustainable growth of greater Perth have been first identified, and then clarified, as a vision by the Committee for Perth.

Members of the Committee for Perth have all committed to help achieve our collective vision.  Representing some of Perth’s primary businesses and government departments, many leading figures have come together under our banner, offering specialised knowledge, business acumen, artistic vision and an undeniable passion for Perth, to create a better future for the entire metropolitan area.  Our members have a vested interest in Perth’s future and are those organisations who are interested in the long-term sustainability Perth and those who seek to attract and retain workers who in turn become citizens and help create a more vibrant city.

Our member have the opportunity to shape the Perth of the future by joining forces with other corporate leaders who have corporate social responsibility agendas and have a tangible stake in making a positive contribution to shaping Perth.  We rely on the financial and practical involvement and commitment of our members to ensure our collective visions become a reality. It is only through this inclusive structure of member involvement that advances will be made.  Without investment on their part, we would not be able to continue our work and ensure that the development of Perth continues in a planned and strategic fashion.

Our current members represent a true diversity of industry sectors.  We have representatives from the banking industry, resource sector, media, education, hospitality and tourism, recruitment, legal, accounting, design and IT.  Membership is open to all corporations, government bodies, not for profit organisations and community groups.  We are continually seeking new members to increase this diversity and add to our bank of specialised knowledge and available expertise.
