Working Groups
The three working groups, focusing on the areas of Reforming, Reshaping and Revitalising, require input and activity from our members and offer in return great opportunity for both our members’ organisations and their resources. By providing us with access to their expert personnel, we are able to offer opportunities for cross-sector networking as well as business and personal development. Members’ nominated staff have the opportunity to work in close collaboration with idea leaders and rising stars from across other industry sectors, which, by assimilation, will serve to enhance their contribution back to their employer and the community at large.
Through the experience of our working groups, individuals come together as a collective and are able to have a voice one some of the most crucial issues facing Perth in an apolitical environment. The working groups encourage people to cultivate a sense of community and offer a real way of contributing to the development of their city.
Many of our members run key talent programs that identify star performers, or rising stars, and offer these employees the opportunity to become involved in special projects outside their normal area of responsibility. The focus of our working groups makes these ideal mediums for such experience. If required as part of a talent program, the Committee for Perth can participate in performance assessment reviews or other employee evaluations.
Member Events
Members receive invitations to exclusive, executive business events at which they will have the opportunity to exchange ideas with some of Perth’s leading business figures and National and International speakers.
