- March Luncheon - Sustaining Australia's Population of 3.5 Million at 2050 -featuring Alannah MacTiernan, former Minister for Planning and Transport. Alannah shared her views of the essential factors that must be addressed in order for Perth to be a functioning city with its current expected population growth.
- April Luncheon - Australia 2050: Big Australia? - featuring Brian Haratsis, Managing Director and Chief Economist of MacroPlan Australia. Brian delivered a thought-provoking presentation, discussing the city Perth now and what sort of city it will need to be as we enter the next major mining boom.
- May Breakfast - CHOGM: The Benefits to Perth - featuring Mark Barnaba, Chair of the WA Steering Committee of the Commonwealth Business Forum for CHOGM and Richard Muirhead, State Director of CHOGM 2011 Perth provided their perspectives on what the immediate and flow on benefits would be for Perth as the host city of CHOGM.
- June Luncheon - Perth: A City Under Transformation - featuring Tony Morgan, CEO of EPRA. Tony provided a briefing on a number of significant projects under his carriage which are seeking to ensure that Perth remains a liveable, sustainable and globally competitive city in the face of such change.
- October Luncheon - Pilbara Planning and Infrastructure: Transforming the North West - with Guest Speaker Gary Prattley, Chairman of the Western Australian Planning Commission. Gary presented the State Government's vision for the Pilbara, which, through the Pilbara Planning and Infrastructure Framework hopes to create modern, vibrant regional centres that are more affordable and able to support and deliver appropriate skills for the next wave of resources development.

- A Conversation with Ann Pickard - Ann, Country Chair of Shell Australia, discussed with our Executive Women's Leadership group her journey from Wyoming to Perth, and the experiences and the challenges she has faced throughout her career as a female senior corporate leader within the resources sector.
A Conversation about hormones in the Workplace with Dr Philippa Gavranich - Female senior executives within our member organisations were given an insight into Philippa's research on the impact of perimenopausal symptoms on women in leaderhip roles. Recent In Touch Events
- In Touch with Small Business - Kate Lamont, CEO and Managing Partner of Lamonts presented to a group of Executive and Personal Assistants of our members, her perspectives on the hospitality and Tourism sectors and how they are key ingredients to creating a vital and vibrant Perth.
- In Touch with Mining - Libby Lyons, Deputy Director of Corporate Affairs for CITIC Pacific Mining, provided much food for thought by sharing her experiences and reflections on the Australian Mining Industry and how important it is to future Perth.
- In Touch with Media - Linda Wayman, General Manager of Southern Cross Austereo Perth and Committee for Perth Board member generated a much enjoyable discussion with her inspiration presentation about her career in the Media and her very interesting journey in life so far.

- Successfully Implementing Directions 2031 Conference - (click on Speaker for PDF of speech) The Minister for Planning, the Hon. John Day MLA opened the half day conference which proved to be a thought-provoking, solutions focussed discussion on successfully implementing Directions 2031. The speakers invited were Gary Prattley, Western Australian Planning Commission, Eric Lumsden, Department of Planning, Reece Waldock, Department of Transport, Troy Pickard, West Australia Local Government Association, James Best, Major of the City of South Perth, Tony Morgan, EPRA, Tony Perrin, Australand, Graham McArthur, Stockland, Professor David Wood, Curtin University, Brad Osborne, Westfield, Dr Michael Stanford, St John of God Health Care.
- Annual Chairman's Luncheon - Hosted by Foundation member BankWest, and our Chairman Tony Howarth AO, Key Representatives from our member groups were given the opportunity to hear from Tony about the future direction of the Committee for Perth as well as a presentation on the complex topic of Affordable Housing from our guest speakers Anne Arnold and Stewart Darby of the Real Estate Insitute of WA. - Perth @ 3.5 Million and Beyond Workshop - After lunch with an informal discussion with the Metropolitan Mayors and CEO's, special guest Steven Ames, a US based expert in developing visions for cities and regions facilitated the workshop which focused on topics such as the context for Perth futures; alternative futures for Perth and our preferred direction going forward.
Annual Perth's Alumni Dinner - Members of our 'Perth's Alumni' were treated to a thought leaders’ dinner with Guest Speaker Brian Haratsis, Managing Director and Chief Economist of MacroPlan Australia where they considered Perth’s role in Australia’s Future. Brian Haratsis Presentation

Sundowner- A Conversation about Work + Life balance - Hosted by Ernst & Young, Guest Speaker Professor Barbara Pocock the Director of the Centre for Work and Life at the University of South Australia spoke to a capacity audience and shared her thoughts on how we can create a healthy work and life balance and as a result a more sustainable community. - Breakfast by the Bay- Carbon Trading, Where to from Here? International Guest Speaker Climate Change Expert James Cameron gave a refreshing and informative overview of the latest development and trends in international policy responses to GreenHouse Gas abatement and mitigation; leading the invited audience of members and stakeholders with a thought provoking discussion on how Perth and WA will be affected.
