The Committee for Perth, and every project we undertake or endorse, is governed by a clearly defined set of guiding principles.

We are committed to support short and longer term, sustainable, beneficial and high impact change for greater Perth.
We develop and nurture partnerships between corporate business, local and state governments, non-government organisations and the community.
We are apolitical in everything we do and are receptive to alternative opinions and proposals.
Our Board and Executive maintain the necessary credibility across Perth in order to be recognised as a motivating and respected stakeholder.
Our focus is on the greater Perth metropolitan region as the gateway to Western Australia.
Our members drive the agenda and momentum for our initiatives.
We add innovative thinking and thought-provoking debate regarding opportunities for Perth.
We never act as a driver of the pecuniary interest of individual members.
Our operating model supports our role as an advisor, catalyst and supporter of strategic development – we are not an implementer.
